To Our Exit 7 Family, Friends, and Community,
I know many of you are eagerly awaiting the announcement of our upcoming season, and I promise — it is coming very soon.
I wanted to take a moment to keep everyone updated on what has been happening behind the scenes since my last message regarding the unfortunate water damage and repairs at the theater.
While this year has certainly brought its share of challenges, it truly feels as though Exit 7 Players is beginning to rise stronger than ever. Not only is our youth production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory currently in rehearsals, but I am also happy to report that repairs to our basement spaces are finally taking shape. Walls have been repaired, cleanup efforts continue, and little by little, things are starting to come back together.
I also have some incredibly exciting news to share.
Last year, Exit 7 Players applied for funding through the Massachusetts Cultural Facilities Fund (CFF), administered through MassDevelopment and the Mass Cultural Council. This grant opportunity would help support one of the projects we have dreamed about for years — brand new seating for our theater.
I am thrilled to announce that our application for a Capital Grant has officially been approved.
While more information will be shared in the coming weeks and months, this is a tremendous step forward for our organization and for the future of our theater.
We would like to sincerely thank MA Governor, Maura Healey, for supporting the #CulturalFacilitiesFund. Ongoing investments in arts and culture truly strengthen communities across Massachusetts and help organizations like ours continue creating meaningful experiences for audiences, performers, volunteers, and families.
Your ongoing capital investment makes our state stronger. #PowerOfCulture

Most importantly, we want to thank all of YOU — our members, patrons, volunteers, and community — for your patience, encouragement, kindness and continued support as we navigate everything this year has brought our way.
Despite the obstacles, the future of Exit 7 Players is looking brighter than ever, and we cannot wait to share what comes next.
With appreciation,
Adam Malmborg
